Ingredients
- Butter: Use unsalted butter or if you only have salted butter, omit the salt from the recipe.
- Sugar: Brown Sugar and Granulated Sugar. I used a blend for a sweet cookie. If you want to make this low sugar (or diabetic-friendly) you can easily replace half of the sugar with Splenda or another sugar substitute.
- Salt: Adds some flavor!
- Egg: Use a large egg. If you only want to make this without an egg, you can always replace the egg with an egg substitute.
- Vanilla Extract: For the best flavor use pure vanilla extract.
- All Purpose Flour; You can make this gluten-free, by using all-purpose gluten-free flour or almond flour l.
- Baking Powder: Use fresh baking powder.
- Chocolate Chips: Use regular or mini-sized.

Butter: Use room temperature, butter for this recipe. I prefer unsalted butter, otherwise, you end up with salty cookies. If you only have salted butter, you can omit the salt.
Spray Your Ramekins: For an easy cookie that slides out, spray your ramekin with cooking spray. Or grease it with some melted butter.
Overmixing The Dough: For best results, do not overmix the dough, otherwise you end up with a tough cookie. Once, the ingredients are mixed, stop stirring.
Ramekins: I used 10-inch ramekins for this recipe, but you can use any that you have on hand. I listed some of my favorite ramekins for the air fryer below.
