Air Fryer Frozen French Fries
One of the finest methods to cook frozen food is with an air fryer. Everything is incredibly crispier and faster.
Advice on Making Crispy Fries
- As always, preheat the air fryer for optimal results.
- To ensure that the fries receive hot air on all sides, try not to pack the air fryer too full.
- If frying in batches, return each batch to the air fryer for two to three minutes to reheat and crisp before serving.
INGREDIENTS
- One pound of frozen french fries in any flavor with seasoned
- salt to taste
Guidelines
- Warm up the air fryer to 400°F.
- Fill the air fryer’s basket roughly ½ full with frozen fries.
- When the fries are done, shake or toss them. Cook for a further 8 to 12 minutes, or until crispy; refer to the notes.
- Add salt for seasoning, then serve right away.
Notes
- Fries should be cooked from frozen. To get the best results, preheat the air fryer.
- Avoid packing the air fryer too full. Before serving, return each batch to the air fryer and let it warm up for one to two minutes at 200°F.
- Regular Frozen Fries: 12 to 14 minutes of total cooking time Shoestring fries from frozen: 7-9 minutes
- Waffle fries from frozen: 10 to 12 minutes
- Sweet potato fries from frozen: 13 to 15 minutes
- Our favorite way to season fries is with seasoned salt, but you can also make your own by mixing 1 teaspoon onion powder, 2 teaspoons garlic salt, 1 teaspoon salt, and ½ teaspoon each of paprika and finely powdered black pepper.
- Use cooking spray on the fries and sprinkle the seasoning on before cooking to help the spice stick.
