Air Fryer Frozen French Fries

Air Fryer Frozen French Fries

One of the finest methods to cook frozen food is with an air fryer. Everything is incredibly crispier and faster.

Advice on Making Crispy Fries

  • As always, preheat the air fryer for optimal results.
  • To ensure that the fries receive hot air on all sides, try not to pack the air fryer too full.
  • If frying in batches, return each batch to the air fryer for two to three minutes to reheat and crisp before serving.

INGREDIENTS

  1. One pound of frozen french fries in any flavor with seasoned
  2. salt to taste

Guidelines

  • Warm up the air fryer to 400°F.
  • Fill the air fryer’s basket roughly ½ full with frozen fries.
  • When the fries are done, shake or toss them. Cook for a further 8 to 12 minutes, or until crispy; refer to the notes.
  • Add salt for seasoning, then serve right away.

Notes

  •  Fries should be cooked from frozen. To get the best results, preheat the air fryer.
  • Avoid packing the air fryer too full. Before serving, return each batch to the air fryer and let it warm up for one to two minutes at 200°F.
  • Regular Frozen Fries: 12 to 14 minutes of total cooking time Shoestring fries from frozen: 7-9 minutes
  • Waffle fries from frozen: 10 to 12 minutes
  • Sweet potato fries from frozen13 to 15 minutes
  • Our favorite way to season fries is with seasoned salt, but you can also make your own by mixing teaspoon onion powder, teaspoons garlic salt, teaspoon salt, and ½ teaspoon each of paprika and finely powdered black pepper.
  • Use cooking spray on the fries and sprinkle the seasoning on before cooking to help the spice stick.
