Have a sweet tooth? You only need to look at this incredibly simple air fryer recipe for honey butter toast.
Picture this: golden, crispy toast with a layer of smooth vanilla ice cream and Biscoff drizzled on top. Yes, it tastes just like it does!
Components
- Three brioche bread pieces
- 50g of butter without salt
- 30 grams of light brown sugar
- Two tablespoons of honey
- A dash of salt
- A smooth 45g Biscoff bar
- Ice cream with vanilla flavor
Instructions
STEP ONE
- Set your air fryer’s temperature to 180°C to start. Carefully cut off the crusts from your freshly baked brioche slices.
Step Two
- Using a spatula, combine the butter and light brown sugar in a mixing dish. Stir in the honey and a small amount of salt, then continue to stir until smooth.
Step Three
- Distribute the mixture evenly over the entire surface of the brioche slices. When finished, gently transfer the cut pieces onto a baking paper-lined sheet and place it inside the air fryer that has been warmed. Cook for about ten minutes.
Step Four
- After the first 7 minutes of frying, flip the brioche slices to make sure they crisp evenly, and then put them back in the air fryer.
Step Number Five
- Following cooking, take the toast out of the air fryer and let it cool for five to ten minutes. This will help it solidify and crisp up.
Step Six
- Scoop some smooth vanilla ice cream on top and drizzle some melted Biscoff spread over it, then dig it!
