EASY CRISPY AIR FRYER ZUCCHINI CHIPS  LOW CARB

Crispy and golden, these Air Fryer Zucchini Chips are seasoned with herbs, garlic, and parmesan cheese. They create a delicious, addicting, and incredibly healthful snack. Gluten-free and low in carbs!

Ingredients:

  1. 1/4 cup medium zucchini
  2. ½ tsp kosher salt
  3. Two tsp of avocado oil
  4. Grated Parmesan cheese, three tablespoons
  5. One-half teaspoon of powdered garlic
  6. one-half teaspoon paprika
  7. One-half tspn Italian seasoning
  8. Optional: cracked black pepper

Directions:

  1. To prepare the zucchini, place some clean paper towels on a baking sheet. Slice the zucchini into chips using a sharp kitchen knife or a mandolin slicer set to 1.55mm. Arrange the zucchini slices on the prepared baking sheet in even layers and lightly season with salt. Give it ten minutes to sit. REMEMBER THIS STEP AT ALL!
  2. Season: In a medium-sized bowl, mix the parmesan cheese, paprika, and Italian spice. Gently pat the zucchini slices dry with additional paper towels to absorb any remaining moisture. Slices of zucchini should be added to a big bowl and covered with oil and parmesan herb seasoning.
  3. Cook: To avoid sticking, preheat the air fryer to 345°F and mist the basket with frying spray containing olive oil. Working in batches, add the coated zucchini to the air fryer basket in a uniform layer. Cook for 12 to 14 minutes, monitoring the chips and discarding any that are done; cook the remaining zucchini as some may cook through more quickly than others. The cooked chips should be immediately transferred to a fresh paper towel to cool and crisp up even more.
  4. Devour – serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes:

  • The best way to get uniformly sized chips is to slice the zucchini using a mandolin slicer.
  • The drying process is essential to getting the zucchini nice and crispy, so don’t skimp on it.
  • To get the finest flavor, coat the zucchini thoroughly.
  • Let the chips cool for at least five minutes before serving, as they will get crispier as they cool.
