Observations and Notes:

  1. Extra Optional Taco Toppings: homemade coleslaw, diced tomatoes, salsa, chopped onion, creamy guacamole, nacho cheese, sour cream, hot sauce, layer of favourite cheese, fresh squeeze of lime or lemon.
  2. Favourite optional taco fillings include crispy fried fish, charred Portobello mushrooms, grilled carne asada, black beans, and spiced ground beef.
  3. Substitutions: If you don’t have any bottled oils, use nonstick, avocado, or olive oil cooking spray. You can use flour tortillas for the corn if you’d rather; just be sure to alter the cooking time so they crisp up.
  4. Keep in mind that the size and thickness of your taco shells may affect the cooking time, so be sure to watch them closely. Savour those crunchy taco shells!

SIMPLE 3 INGREDIENT PROTEIN BAGELS

SIMPLE 3 INGREDIENT PROTEIN BAGELS

SIMPLE 3 INGREDIENT PROTEIN BAGELS – AIR FRYER RECIPE

You only need three basic ingredients to make protein bagels at home. These bagels are created with cottage cheese, flour, and baking powder, and each one contains 10 grams of protein. They can be prepared in the oven or air fryer and come together quickly. Delicious for lunch or breakfast any day of the week! Alter the toppings or add gluten-free options!

Ingredients:

  1. One cup of flour for all purposes
  2. two tsp powdered baking
  3. A pinch of salt, if desired
  4. One cup plus two tablespoons of 2% or 4% cottage cheese
  5. One egg, optional
  6. Toppings: everything seasoning, poppy seeds, sesame seeds

Directions:

  1. Place the flour and baking powder in a medium-sized bowl. To add more taste, sprinkle in a little salt.
  2. In the center of the flour, create a well and pour in the cottage cheese. Using a fork or small rubber spatula, mix the mixture until it starts to take on the texture of chunky dough. Another option is to use a stand mixer with a dough hook to combine the dough.
  3. Place the bagel dough on a lightly floured surface and use your hands to knead it for one to two minutes, or until a semi-smooth ball of dough forms. As you knead the dough, lightly dust your hands with flour or add more flour if it starts to get sticky. You may also use a stand mixer with a dough hook to accomplish this.
  4. Separate the bagel dough into four equal halves. Form the dough into 6-7 inch logs, each about ¾ inch thick, by rolling each portion, then join the ends to form the bagel. Continue until all four bagels are produced.
  5. In a small bowl, crack the egg, whisk it, and then add a splash of milk or water. Using a pastry or rubber brush, lightly brush each bagel with egg. Top with extras if you like.
  6. Set the air fryer’s temperature to 300°F. When the air fryer is ready, use cooking spray or line the basket with parchment paper. Arrange the bagels in the air fryer in a single layer. If you have a smaller air fryer, you might have to do this in batches. Bake the bagels until golden, 15 to 17 minutes. Since air fryers differ, check them after about 10 minutes and resume cooking as necessary.
  7. After the bagels are cooked—they should be light, fluffy, and golden brown—take them out of the air fryer and allow them to cool for at least fifteen minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes:

  • Cottage cheese: 2% will do, but I used Good Culture’s 4% variety.
  • Flour: cup four cups gluten-free flour, whole wheat flour, or all-purpose flour can all work.
  • For up to five days, leftover bagels should be kept in the refrigerator in an airtight container. For up to three months, store them in a freezer-safe container.
  • Put frozen bagels in the fridge to defrost them over night. Warm them up again in the microwave, air fryer, or toaster until thoroughly heated.
  • For 20 to 25 minutes, bake these bagels at 375°F in the oven.

BEST EASY AIR FRYER EGG ROLLS

BEST EASY AIR FRYER EGG ROLLS

BEST EASY AIR FRYER EGG ROLLS

Savor these guilt-free, crispy egg rolls from the air fryer that are created without using a lot of oil or deep-frying. These handmade egg rolls are the tastiest, easiest midweek dinner that everyone will enjoy. They cook in about 10 minutes, making them superior than takeout!

Ingredients:

  1. One tablespoon of olive oil
  2. One spoonful of pasted ginger
  3. One spoonful of pasted garlic
  4. One pint of chopped shiitake mushrooms, or roughly two cups
  5. ¼ cup finely cut green onions, often known as scallions
  6. 1/2 pound of ground turkey (I used 93/7)
  7. 2 cups of broccoli slaw (I used organic store-bought).
  8. One-tspn fish sauce
  9. Two tsp of tamari
  10. One tablespoon of sesame oil
  11. I used 12–14 egg roll wrappers (Nasoya brand).

Directions:

  1. Prepare the filling. Add the ginger and garlic paste to a large skillet or wok that has been heated up with olive oil over medium heat. Next, include the scallions and mushrooms. Cook, tossing, until the mushrooms become tender. After that, add the slaw, mix, and continue cooking for a few more minutes. After moving the vegetables to one side of the pan, add the fish sauce, sesame oil, tamarind, and ground turkey. Mix everything together and simmer until the beef turns pink. Put aside to cool.
  2. Put the egg rolls together. On a level surface, place an egg roll wrapper with one corner facing you. Run your finger over the edges after dipping it in water. Fill the lower half of the wrapper with one to two tablespoons of filling, then fold the corner next to you over the filling. Once you get to the edge, keep rolling the wrapper away from you. Then, fold and close the ends (my method is shown in the post’s photographs). Once the filling is all used, keep assembling the egg rolls. It makes 12–14 egg rolls from this recipe.
  3. To air fry, preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit, if necessary. When it’s ready, put the egg rolls inside the air fryer basket in a single layer without overlapping by spraying the basket with olive oil spray. Give them all one more shot of olive oil spray. Close and let cook for half an hour. After that, turn them over, give them another round of cooking for four to five minutes. This might need to be done in batches.
  4. Serve warm, along by your preferred dipping sauce. Find some ideas for dipping sauces below.

Notes:

  • Make use of premium components such as organic vegetables, grass-fed meat, and high-quality egg roll wrappers (such as Nasoya).
  • Take the fish sauce with you! This umami component is what essentially unites all of the flavors.
  • To keep the constructed egg rolls from drying out, keep them covered with a damp paper towel on a clean dish while you assemble the rest of the rolls.
  • Avoid packing the egg rolls too full as this could cause them to break. The amount of egg roll filling I used in each was just right—about 1-2 tablespoons.
  • To prevent them from popping open during cooking, roll and wrap them rather securely.
  • Apply a thin layer of olive oil spray both prior to and during cooking. Compared to frying, this method uses far less oil and will produce extremely crispy fries.

Benefits Tip and Tricks Air Fryer Cooking

Benefits Tip and Tricks Air Fryer Cooking

Benefits Tip and Tricks Air Fryer Cooking When compared to conventional frying methods, air frying is a popular cooking technique that has garnered significant attention for its capacity to cook food quickly and effectively while lowering the quantity of oil and calories.

With the use of contemporary technology, air fryers create a crispy, crunchy outside texture for food by forcing hot air around it, much like deep-frying but without using a lot of oil. This tutorial will go over the advantages, typical applications, and some pointers for making the most out of air-frying.

Benefits Tip and Tricks Air Fryer Cooking

Advantages of Air Frying Healthier Meals:
  • Compared to traditional deep frying, air frying uses a lot less oil. The majority of recipes merely call for a little mist or brushing of oil, which lowers the dish’s total fat and calorie content.
  • Faster Cooking: Unlike conventional ovens, air fryers heat up quickly and don’t need to be preheated. This can shorten the cooking time, which makes it perfect for fast dinners.
  • Crispier Results: Food is successfully crisped in air fryers thanks to their fast air technology, giving meals a delightful texture that is sometimes difficult to attain in a traditional oven.
  • Versatility: Air fryers are a useful addition to any kitchen since they can be used for a wide range of culinary techniques, such as frying, roasting, baking, and grilling.
  • Safety and Cleanliness: Compared to traditional frying, air frying is typically safer and cleaner. The closed system keeps your kitchen tidy and reduces the chance of hot oil splatters.
Usages of Air Fryer Commonly:
  1. Cutting without Using a Knife: Ideal for using significantly less oil when preparing classic deep-fried dishes like chicken wings and french fries.
  2. Roasting: Compared to an oven, air fryers use less energy and can roast meats and vegetables more quickly.
  3. Baking: An air fryer can be used to make small amounts of bread, cakes, and cookies.
  4. Reheating: Air fryers work wonders for reheating food leftovers, giving them back that crispy quality that microwaving frequently eliminates.

Advice on How to Use an Air Fryer:

  • Avoid Crowding: Make sure there is adequate room for air to move around the meal to help with even cooking and crisping.
  • Shake or Flip Often: To guarantee uniform crisping and browning of meals like fries or vegetables, shake the basket many times while they are cooking.
  • Employ Appropriate Temperatures: Although air fryers cook food more quickly than traditional ovens, it’s still important to adjust the temperature. For reference, consult the individual recipes as cooking temps can differ.
  • Utilise Accessories: You may enhance your cooking options and efficiency by using the racks and skewers that many air fryers come with.
  • When necessary, preheat the air fryer for a few minutes before adding the food. This is similar to preheating an oven for some recipes.

Air Fryer Ranch Breadsticks

Air Fryer Ranch Breadsticks

Fryer Ranch Air Breadsticks are incredibly flavorful and simple to prepare! Three items will do for dinner tonight: warm breadsticks!

This breadstick recipe is ideal if you need a quick bready snack because homemade breadsticks take a lot of time to prepare. In addition to being simple, they offer additional taste thanks to a small dusting of Hidden Valley Ranch spice inside! And they complement nearly every dish!

These bread sticks are a delicious side dish that goes well with our favorite meals, which often include Air Fryer Steak, Chicken Wings, and Chicken Parmesan! Of course, they also make a great appetizer or snack. You may prepare for game day by setting up a table with these breadsticks, Air Fryer steak fries, and tortilla chips.

Ingredients:

  1. 1 can (13.8 ounces) of refrigerated pizza dough
  2. two tsp Seasoning from Hidden Valley Ranch
  3. Two tsp of sour cream

DIRECTIONS

  • Open the chilled dough can and roll it into a rectangle to get started.
Mix the sour cream and spice in a small bowl, stirring to blend the ingredients. Transfer the mixture onto the rectangle using a spoon, making sure it covers the whole area equally.
  • Slice the dough into twelve equal-sized strips. Twist each strip, folding it in half and pinching the ends of each breadstick as you go. Each piece will slightly stretch when you twist it. Simply continue.
  • Prevent them from exceeding the capacity of your tray or basket.
  • After the breadsticks have been lightly coated with nonstick frying spray or lined with parchment paper, place them in the air fryer basket.
  • The breadsticks should air fry for 8 to 10 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit, or until golden brown.

NOTES:

  • I use my Colori 5.8-quart air fryer to create these. Since every air fryer is different, the precise cooking time may need to be altered by two to three minutes.
  • I was able to air fried six breadsticks per batch. Give them space in the basket so they can spread out without piling up or overlapping.
  • You can add ¼ cup of parmesan, mozzarella, or cheddar cheese to the sour cream mixture to make cheesy breadsticks.
