AIR FRYER CROISSANT SANDWICHES WITH PESTO AND HAVARTI

AIR FRYER CROISSANT SANDWICHES WITH PESTO AND HAVARTI

AIR FRYER CROISSANT SANDWICHES WITH PESTO AND HAVARTI These sandwiches made with air-fried croissants are rich, crispy, cheesy, and simple to prepare. In less than four minutes, this simple recipe’s flaky croissants get incredibly crispy as the mild Havarti cheese melts in the air fryer.

Five minutes for prep        Cooking: Four minutes
Total Duration: Nine minutes
Servings: Two

INGREDIENTS FOR AIR FRYER CROISSANT SANDWICHES WITH PESTO AND HAVARTI:

  • Two large croissants
  • Two tablespoons each of mayonnaise and pesto
  • 80 grams of sliced Havarti cheese
  • Black pepper, pickled onions, and shredded lettuce (to serve)

INSTRUCTIONS FOR AIR FRYER CROISSANT SANDWICHES WITH PESTO AND HAVARTI:

  • In a small bowl, combine the pesto and mayo.
  • Segment the croissants lengthwise in half.
  • On each of the croissants’ sliced sides, spread pesto mayo.
  • On one half of the croissant, spread the cheese.
  • Arrange the croissants on a tray or basket for an air fryer. (The two trays in my air fryer).
  • Fry for three to four minutes at 350°F. I air fried for two minutes on each of the two trays that are included in my air fryer, then switch them around. Then, depending on how long the top croissant needs to toast, I air fried it for another one to two minutes.
  • When the croissants are done, transfer them gently to a platter or cutting board. They’re going to be really warm.
  • Sprinkle some black pepper on the cheese. Add the pickled onion and lettuce. Once the sandwich is assembled, top with the croissant and serve.

Remarks

  • Set the air fryer at a high temperature so that the cheese melts and the croissant begins to crisp.
  • To guarantee melting of the cheese throughout the 3–4 minute cooking time, use thinly sliced or finely shredded cheese.
  • For the cheese to melt, toast the croissant with its face open, not closed.
  • Keep an eye out—croissants in the air fryer crisp up in a couple of minutes.
  • After two minutes, rotate the top and bottom trays in an air fryer that uses trays for optimal results. This will assist you in getting the croissants to crisp evenly.
  • Making two sandwiches at once is made simpler with an air fryer that is tray-style. Making sandwiches in batches is necessary if you’re using an air fryer with a basket.
  • Swap up the pesto for your favourite spread, such as mayo or Dijon mustard, to personalise the sandwich. Try your favourite fillings, such as cucumbers or freshly sliced tomatoes.
  • Top these sandwiches with a fried egg or scrambled eggs to make them into croissant breakfast sandwiches.

Smashed Potatoes in an Air Fryer

Smashed Potatoes in an Air Fryer

These air fryer smashed potatoes are perfect for you if, like me, you enjoy mashed potatoes but detest taking the time to boil and bake them. With only a few minutes of preparation time, you may create them completely in an air fryer.

However, in terms of flavor, they are nothing like shortcuts. Every smashed potato has a flavor of black pepper, rosemary, and garlic and is crispy and golden brown. As we get into the dish, be ready to air fry some baby gold potatoes!

Air Fry Baby Gold Potatoes for 15-20 Minutes at 400ºF.

Although I’ve prepared these smashed potatoes with variety of baby potato medleys, the recipe specifically asks for baby gold potatoes. Simply put, gold potatoes have the finest color. The recipe instructs you to wash, pat dry, and then immediately put the potatoes in the air fryer to maintain low fat content. To make the potatoes extra crispy, feel free to toss them in little olive oil before to the first air fry cycle. My air fryer potato wedges only require half tablespoon for the initial air fry cycle.

INGREDIENTS

  1. (1) Baby Gold Potatoes, 1/2 pound
  2. Two tsp (32g) olive oil
  3. One teaspoon dried rosemary
  4. A half-tsp of garlic powder
  5. 1/4 tsp Kosher or Flake Salt Black Pepper, according your taste

Guidelines

  • Before placing the potatoes in the air fryer basket, wash and pat dry. Bake the potatoes at 400°F for 15 to 20 minutes, or until they are tender.
  • After transferring the potatoes to a sheet pan, mash them into thin coins, about 1/4″ apiece, using the bottom of a cup or mug. Avoid oversmashing to avoid having mashed potatoes.
  • Pour pepper and olive oil over the potatoes, then toss lightly to coat evenly.
  • Return the mashed potatoes to the air fryer and cook, shaking halfway through, for a further 15 to 20 minutes at 400 degrees. , until the potatoes have a golden brown crispy texture.
  • Notes: I air-fried using a 6.5-quart Ninja Foodi. The cooking speed of air fryers varies depending on their size. Cook times should be adjusted appropriately.

Air Fryer Frozen French Fries

One of the finest methods to cook frozen food is with an air fryer. Everything is incredibly crispier and faster.

Advice on Making Crispy Fries

  • As always, preheat the air fryer for optimal results.
  • To ensure that the fries receive hot air on all sides, try not to pack the air fryer too full.
  • If frying in batches, return each batch to the air fryer for two to three minutes to reheat and crisp before serving.

INGREDIENTS

  1. One pound of frozen french fries in any flavor with seasoned
  2. salt to taste

Notes

  •  Fries should be cooked from frozen. To get the best results, preheat the air fryer.
  • Avoid packing the air fryer too full. Before serving, return each batch to the air fryer and let it warm up for one to two minutes at 200°F.
  • Regular Frozen Fries: 12 to 14 minutes of total cooking time Shoestring fries from frozen: 7-9 minutes
  • Waffle fries from frozen: 10 to 12 minutes
  • Sweet potato fries from frozen13 to 15 minutes
  • Our favorite way to season fries is with seasoned salt, but you can also make your own by mixing teaspoon onion powder, teaspoons garlic salt, teaspoon salt, and ½ teaspoon each of paprika and finely powdered black pepper.
  • Use cooking spray on the fries and sprinkle the seasoning on before cooking to help the spice stick.

How to Make Toast in Air Fryer

How to Make Toast in Air Fryer

How to make Ninja Foodi toast or toast in an air fryer! This is the ideal method for perfectly browned bread for breakfast if you don’t have a toaster.

Which bread kind works best for toast?

For me, Sara Lee’s Artisan slices are my favourite since they are thick. It is excellent for french toast and this, but it isn’t that much more expensive than any other bread or loaves. I’d suggest getting a smaller loaf if you like sourdough; otherwise, it won’t fit well and you’ll have to cut it in half.
For How Long Does an Air Fryer Toast Bread?
You may prepare this utilising the air crisp feature if, like us, you own a pressure cooker and an air fryer. To make this, you would close the connecting lid. Only about 2 slices will fit in the small round basket that comes with it but since they are done quickly you could make multiple batches quickly.

you lay out everything on your kitchen island so each person can dress it up as they like. Just lay out and offer;

  • Honey butter
  • Different types of jellies
  • Avocado spread
  • Slices of various cheeses
  • Peanut butter and jam

Make a batch of eggs too if people want to top some protein on it.

Toast with cheese cooked in an air fryer:

In terms of temperature, you would adhere to the same recommendations. Although it works great too, I’ve also reduced to 380 for two minutes; at 400, you only need one minute. Spread some butter on one side and place a slice of readily melted cheese—such as packaged, wrapped Kraft cheese slices—atop.

Toast Bread In Air Fryer

Daughter #2 is making it herself, as you can see. My girls love cooking now that they are adolescents, especially if they don’t have to ask for directions. 😉 I’ve included a printable recipe card below in case you want to have it close at hand, but I’ll also include a brief step-by-step below.

  • The ideal setting for your air fryer is a 5-minute, 400°F warm up.
  • We like to use room temperature salted butter to butter the bread pieces on both sides.
  • Next, arrange the bread slices within in a single layer that does not overlap.
  • Shut the basket drawer of the air fryer and cook for
We think this is the ideal toast for us—cook for two minutes for gently toasted toast, or for three minutes for crispy browned toast.

In an air fryer, cinnamon toast:

This will function similarly whether you enjoy Sun Maid or Cinnabon sultana bread as well. To make it lovely and moist, I would absolutely spread butter on top before adding that. For this technique, slightly underdone and not very crispy is preferable. I’d say stick to 2 minutes since the pieces are slightly smaller and you want fruit inside to be tender.

OLD BAY AIOLI DIPPING SAUCE

Instead of using the traditional sauces with crab cakes, I elected to make an Old Bay Aioli.

Old Bay is a spice blend that is used in all sorts of seafood recipes. It’s also tasty on top of corn on the cob with melted butter. It has a salty and spicy flavor that is the perfect compliment to the mild crabmeat.

The old bay is combined with mayonnaise and sour cream to bring the creamy sauce together.

If you are looking for cocktail and tartar sauce I’ve got you covered with recipes for both below.

Air Fryer Juicy Steak Bites

Air Fryer Sesame Chicken

Air Fryer Juicy Steak Bites

Enjoy the flavor of our steak bites that are air-fried. These flavorful, delicious, and speedy steak bites are the ideal snack or dinner. Give them a try right now!

INGREDIENTS

  1. Two-pound sirloin steak, cut into 1½-by-1-inch pieces;
  2. two tablespoons of oil;
  3. one-tsp ground black pepper;
  4. one-tsp salt;
  5. and one-tsp soy sauce

DIRECTIONS

  •  Roughly chop meat into 1-by-1-inch chunks.
  • Mix the soy sauce, oil, pepper, and salt together.
  • Place the steak in the bowl and toss it with the sauce to coat it.
  • Warm up the air fryer.
  • Cook for 7–12 minutes at 400°F in an air fryer.
  • Twelve minutes is medium-well; seven minutes is more infrequent.
  • Serve as a main course with noodles, vegetables, or steamed rice.

NOTES Taste Adjustments

  • Onions: Before heating, add some finely chopped white or yellow onions to your bowl of sauce and mix thoroughly.
  • Mushrooms: Steak and mushrooms are a natural combination. Just add the mushrooms to the bowl, toss them in the sauce, drizzle a bit more oil over them, and air fried them with the steak pieces.
  • Spices: Garlic, ginger, paprika, cumin, coriander, chili powder, lemon juice, and toasted sesame seeds are other spices that pair well with soy sauce.
  • Sauces: You can serve the steak bites with Worcestershire sauce, Cajun butter sauce, mustard cream, barbecue sauce, A1 sauce, hummus, tzatziki sauce, or steak Diane sauce.
  • Cheese: When it comes to steak, I can’t get enough of crumbled blue cheese. When the steak is cooked through, sprinkle it with some crumbled blue cheese and let it melt a little bit into the meat. This is a choice that many well-known steakhouses now provide, and I truly enjoy it. It gives the meat a strong, acidic flavor.
  • Butter: After the air fryer steak is cooked, toss it in a bowl with butter. This component will provide it flavor in addition to moisture.
  • Garlic: Add the garlic at the beginning of the marinating process to lock in even more flavor, and then cook it as directed by the recipe. When plating the steak for supper, mince the garlic and mix it in a bowl with a little melted butter if you’re like me and like raw garlic.
